We aim to serve the "practically rigorous" strategy professional in the for-profit enterprise. We will do this by integrating what is useful from academia with tried and true practice and emerging best and next practice from the strategy field. And all of this is to help drive results and performance that is the key accountability of the strategy professional.

This website is not a "selling" website. It is a learning, content and action website aimed to help the practically rigorous strategy professional deliver results. It provides for you content I have developed over the last thirty years that has proven valuable for firms engaging in strategy.
We feel that for a for-profit firm to be its best, it must artfully blend what is tried and true with what is considered best practice and what is being noticed early as perhaps valuable next practice. The patience and skill to not jump to supposedly next practice, that turns out to be a fad, is of real value in today's world.
We provide a variety of products, and services for the strategy professional at four levels of expertise: novice, apprentice, journeyman and virtuoso expert. But this website is an advanced practitioner website. Ideally, prior formal training in strategy (either an MBA or certification) and at least ten years of experience practicing strategy would be ideal. But we will appeal to the novice as well as long as they enjoy being practically rigorous and practising from an evidenced based approach.
We will also engage in a series of action research projects to help advance the field of strategy for professionals and their effects on firm performance for the for-profit enterprise. Our view of the key superordinate goal of the for-profit firm is increases in firm valuation.

But are you sitting down? Our Secret Sauce and Knowledge Taxonomy provide one view of what business has been like for at least 2000 years. All you need to do is press the Tempo button on your virtual metronome to plug in the tempo of business in any current "now" - whether now or ten years from now. Of course "interventions" like the world-wide-web happen all the time but in our view just speed or slow the tempo of the underlying laws that have been in force for at least 2000 years. A bold claim I know, but true from our perspective.
Much of what we offer here will be pro-bono as it is our desire to give back to the field of strategy that we have worked in and enjoyed for thirty years. We hope to start a community for those strategy professionals in industry or as consultants who are practically rigorous and who must deliver results and performance in the for-profit enterprise.
I do not have all the questions and answers by a long shot. But I am considered an expert in the field and have an insatiable curiosity about what drives firm valuation and the strategy professional's role in increasing firm valuation. I do not know if anyone will find our offerings of interest and valuable - but it will be fun trying. But if our offerings gain traction and interest enough people we look to co-evolve this website and offerings with the community and perhaps eventual partners, for the benefit of us all.
